Green Mountain students Nico (Miami) and Francis (Atlanta) came to help out at the pancake breakfast during the Poultney Maplefest a couple weeks back. I'm always pleasantly surprised when students show up on a Saturday morning for anything; these fellas just got an email from me and landed in the basement of the Methodist Church to serve something like 100 pancakes at 8am. It was a little bit early, but we had a buckwheat flippin' good time. Appearances were made (not quite as early) by GMC faculty, students, and President and Mrs. Brennan. I handed off the spatula early to head to Burlington with Dawn (read on).
